BAROQUE CONVERSATIONS WITH THE LOS ANGELES CHAMBER ORCHESTRA

Four extraordinary cellists collaborate with the renowned Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra in the Baroque masterworks of Platti, Vivaldi, Boccherini, Leo, and C.P.E. Bach.
Jean-Guihen Queyras leads Platti’s Concerto in D minor, WD 657. Colin Carr leads on Vivaldi’s Concerto in C minor, RV 401. Thomas Demenga leads on Boccherini’s Concerto in G major, G. 480. Giovanni Sollima leads on Leo’s Concerto No. 3 in D minor, L. 60. And, Jean-Guihen Queyras returns to the helm for C.P.E. Bach’s Concerto in A major, Wq. 172, H. 439.
Immediately following the performance, Festival artistic director Ralph Kirshbaum and LACO concertmaster Margaret Batjer host an audience Q&A with the evening’s soloists.
